Slept on the in the sense that nobody talks much about these days, but it's easily one of the most unique R&B albums over the past 20 years. Little bit of jazz, little bit of lounge music & samba, little bit of hip-hop, soul, but it was still very much R&B, without trying to be too hard. Way better than his first effort and better than anything he's done since.
