People [rightfully] have shyt on TNA, but from 2002-2008, a lot of those years TNA put on a better product than the WWE (especially from 04-08). TNA used to be a legitimate alternative in their early years until they became WWE-lite and started copying everything the WWE was doing, but making it EVEN WORSE.
Tna was better than the WWE from 2002-to and after post Hogan and up til and after the bdc.
The only horrible hiccup for tna was the Sabin legacy title win and Eric young being d bry lite. Of which they responded and made the product way better than it was.
As a matter fact when tha had a hiccup they made the product largely better in actual quality than the WWE consistently.
Past db, shield, early ryback and punk, in the WWE. All the tna content was actually better. The matches were consistently better, from tags to single and even gimmick matches.
Plus originally, tna knew what to do after the second roh raid where they yielded Desmond Wolfe (Nigel McGuinness).
Incomparison to WWE debuting Bryan Danielson and Daniel Bryan as well.
Plus the WWE was so belligerently against giving us a good product.
They ambiguously booked the Daniel win at mania based off their own inept issues with the talent.
Tha got a bad wrap, when it was actually good and looking back .
There was really only four times, where tha was bad or off the rails. Of which they incorporated and moved away from with great quality and change of direction.
Example, Eric young, went from db ripoff to one of the most convincing heels and actual heel characters from Canada all time.
He could hold a monopoly on being the best psycho based heel all time. As he showed a movie like evolution to become this heel character now. That all started from pisspoor character changes and booking. Then was changed into a great callback to a bad period and gave plausibility to the young heel change and character and most importantly,...it made sense of bullshyt.
Unlike the WWE.
Tna just got a bad wrap, and got better everytime it went off the rails. Incomparison to the WWE. Which kinda never gets better. They just acquire talent to eventually bury them and we watch it.
hoping for a kernel of good to come our way from their low quality on purpose carni based agenda in the WWE.
