False.
Dems helped Trump deliver on a promise.
That's it.
...and I'm happy it got done, because HBCU's are important.
Dems helped Trump deliver on a promise....
Beautiful phrasing. Such effortless propaganda. In less than a year of being President and just weeks after that phony 2017 HBCU meeting, Trump suggested HBCUs are unconstitutional and had his DOJ focus on "discrimination" towards white applicants, among other attacks including those against Affirmative Action. Democrat's worked this bill through Congress and into the oval office. The same "do nothing" Democrats who are totally the same as Republicans and far too focused on impeaching Trump to focus on black folks according to Coli third-eye revolutionaries and the Fox News Channel. This bill hasn't even been signed yet. We don't know if Trump will cease the opportunity to say "look what I've done for the blacks" going into 2020 an impeached disgrace or if he will reject it, being that showing commitment to his "base" who surely don't care one bit for HBCUs or any "liberal" legislation, is the bigger strategy. Those are the facts.
Shout out to Doug Jones who also snuck increased funding to HBCUs in the previous ominous spending bill along with Kamala Harris. We all know the tired and woefully misinformed Kamala Harris group-think bandwagon, I'd bet money a quick Google search of Doug Jones's name on this site will reveal a ton of "independents" and "ADOS" back in 2018 jeering his victory and proclaiming it won't change nothing for African Americans, notangiblenovote and other pessimistic, contrarian bullshyt--as if the dixieland pedophile he beat would've been preferable somehow. Shout out to all those African Americans, young and old, who VOTED so that shyt like this is possible, even while the President of the United States is a corrupt racist.
Take note folks: THIS is what the strength of our democracy doing things for our communities regardless of a sitting President looks like. It's not sitting at home, spreading whiny hashtags, netbanging against powerless immigrants, and listening to contrarian pro-black internet profiles.
You contrarian intellects refusing to vote, always spreading apathy, and always jumping through hoops to thank massa Donald Trump for doing just about anything need to sit down.
I'm starting to get the sense some people here don't care about black issues as much as they enjoy weaponizing them for their own political motives.
