I happened to see some clips earlier, during recess of the TM case.. shyt was 2nd-hand embarrassment.. he was saying "nikka", and "******" trying to explain it to whoever that reporter lady is.. and even she was embarrassed..
My psychic skills tell me this will be bullshyt.
So there's probably gonna be some kind of panel discussion with at least one person who is completely unqualified contribute anything of merit. Probably 2.
There's gonna be some bullshyt discussion of hip-hop and how all these new kids are hanging out and using the shyt as a term of affection. There will be video or pictures of all kinds of white kids and Mexicans in du-rags and playing basketball. At least one black kid will say the shyt isn't racial anymore.
There will be little to no real etymological discussion of the term.
There are fukking books on the subject. Lots of them. I've read them. What more do you want? Oh yeah, for CNN to gift wrap some bullshyt special about the word in an hour (with 17 minutes of commercial breaks of course) for our quick and easy understanding of one of the most influential and hateful terms the English language has mustered and it's social, economic, and political implications.
