Tinashe isn't really missing anything necessarily. She is just on a garbage label, RCA is one of the worst labels in the industry. And also as we know you need black women to support you heavily as a black or mixed artist to be successful and Tinashe actually gets a lack of success and is actually criticized by black women. We are in an R and B revival but they ain't really feeling the light skinned sings in r and b unless you are really really good.
Teyana on the other hand gets love from black women. The issue is with Kanye's dumbass and his terrible promotion. He does not market her properly enough. The same way he promoted himself he could have done with her.

trust me though SZA will be back and she will be perfectly fine. dont listen to her rants because as we saw last week she calmed down, she is just the usual bipolar creative. i think she will return after some rest and training from great vocal teachers. i expect to see her singing in a contralto type of voice like amy winehouse and be more clearer this time.
as far as the other r and b girls you are right there is a comeback on the horizon for the genre...the reason why its stalling is for a simple reason. LACK OF BLACK LABELS or at least black labels catering to r and b. In rap we had CashMoney/YoungMoney, TDE, Roc Nation, GOOD MUSIC, MMG.These labels all helped launch black rappers or artists in general.
Rih and Bey needs someone to have an actual label. Bey and Rih have the power to do that because they both have their own labels
but some of the biggest artists in the next couple of years i have no doubt in my mind will be HER, Normani who will be a mix of pop and r and b and SZA
