Almost every group on this planet has been enslaved, slavery is not bound to blacks even though black americans love to own it. Its just, no other race pass this disgusting legacy down to their children. The word "slave" itself comes from "slav", who were eastern europeans that were so bound that their ethic name became the representation of that behaviour.

As much as I would like to agree with you, I could see them trying to change this in college curriculums as well.

I've encountered young white professional teachers that are literally scared to death to teach about slavery...and suggest it would even be better to not teach it at all.

I dont think people understand straight up how many white people out there that just want to avoid talking about race, racism, white privilege, white supremacy, and slavery altogether.

White people have been fighting for/arguing for/morally opposing the rights of blacks in america since it's inception.
Or do you think black people did it alone?
Change is incremental and is blocked by the fact that it's impossible for people to see eye to eye on everything due to everyone living different life and being subjected to different societal influences based on what specific groups they're born to and being more susceptible towards different belief systems based on their predisposition and the eyes they see the world through but it's possible to break through these barriers and I see it all around the world today.
Anger and separatism the stuff the people on thecoli say about people or talk about only harms the world.
It prolongs conflicts across the world for centuries.
It allows bigotry to foster unchecked.
It leads to a lack of empathy.
It's unrealistic and un-nuanced and unfounded.
The world can never be perfect, that's not what i'm saying, but if everyone makes an effort it can be better.
just because someone is from an oppressed group doesn't mean they have a do whatever you want pass.

It literally is just not going to happen and it all comes down to money. Yes money. Money is what was the motivator behind white supremacy and creating a racial hierarchy to continue the usage of slave labor and it still is a motivator.

Even with that gone...you would still have to deal with the results of the actions of the past which have led to a widening wealth gap between races etc. Its just not happening. The black standard of living is so poor because of everything that has been done to keep black people as a current underclass and no matter what, white society has had a 400 year head start on everyone. It would probably take 400 years for black people in America to even flourish on that level and by that time who know if America will even exist?
