THE PROBLEM IS GAS STATIONS ARE FRANCHISED OUT. THOSE OWNERS WILL BE SKEPTICAL ABOUT THE UPFRONT COST OF INSTALLING THE CHARGING STATIONS. THE JANKY ASS CHARGERS WE HAVE AT WORK WERE 10K A POP AFTER INSTALL. INSTALLING THAT MEGACHARGER OR WHATEVER IS GONNA COST WAY MORE. 15-20K PER STATION PLUS THE COST TO HAVE THE LINES RAN FROM THE POLE UNDERGROUND.

THAT PART I THINK WILL REQUIRE SOME GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE.

Yep plus the oil franchises aint trying to get folks off the gas. Especially with these low gas prices folks really don't even worry about the cost.

It is when gas prices skyrocket that people start to think about gas consumption.
