Not as impactful but I feel that Johnathon Simmons leaving SA started a path that led to him being out of the league
Happens to a lot of fringe NBA guys who come to the Spurs system. The Spurs put them in a good role, they ball, get paid elsewhere and fade into obscurity.

Victor page getting drunk in front of scouts at the pre-draft camp, Terrence Morris not leaving Maryland after his sophomore year, Felipe lopez playing one minute of college basketball
I will never understand his decision-making here. He was a lottery pick if he leaves as a sophomore

I low-key believe Gary Williams gave him bad advice.

I don't know if it was a "terrible mistake" or necessarily changed his impact - his place in history is very much secure - but Albert Pujols leaving St. Louis for Anaheim. I'll never begrudge anyone getting that paper; it just feels like he should've been a lifetime Cardinal, like Musial and Gibson and 'em.

Once he went west it seemed like he kinda disappeared, outside of the occasional big milestone. And of course they never had postseason success during that time.
nah pujols career was perfect

win multiple world series and have a hall of fame career before 30

spend your 30s in LA chillin' with 300 miliion

not a player, but Charlie Strong shouldve never left Louisville for Texas. I get that you dont turn down Texas but those boosters never liked him or the fact that he was married to a white woman :mjpls:. IN Louisville he had built up a nice pipeline of players from South Florida (its possible Lamar winds up there anyway without Bobby Petrino recruiting him) and expectations were a lot lower. And he wouldve stuck around long enough to possible get hired at Florida which was his dream job. Now hes at Central Arkansas and will probably never get a chance at a big school again :to:

From Atlanta to San Fran to LA 4now
Not really he already had mental health issues.

He won a championship and will always be known for “The Stop”.

To me his weight loss was his biggest mistake.

Husky Love was better on the boards and in the post.
lol kevin love dont belong on this he got 200mill plus from the cavs and bron raped the team moving all the pieces for guys that fit him dominating the ball Klove prob gonna have a blake griffin type of revival next year on a contender
