and the machines from the future who knew who john connor was and why they tried to kill him twice...

its a causaulity paradox loop... It's like delivering a message to yourself from the future to the past to make yourself rich, And thus when you get to that point in time in the future you must continue to send that message to the past thus, keeping the loop going...

They have knowledge of john connor from the TX, im sure who kicked off the war when skynet was made aware... They have little knowledge of his mother but one thing is for certain, they was desperate enough to send machines back in time to kill your parents, then kill you. Why because john will win, and they know it...

I think the "Genisys" movie will answer more in depth about the loop and why the machines / Skynet A,I. fears john connor... and I bet you we see the time machine for ourselves.

in 1, it was the first time it was going on

in 2, sara knew and she started training jon from birth but got locked up

3, he tried to end it early but it still happened... it was always going to happen (skynet launching the nukes)

in salvation, the past 3 times already happened... you hear sara on the tapes she recorded for jon.. jon has memory of the terminators that were already sent back... when they first find the t-100 on the computer, his boy says "it's just like you told us it would be"

so skynet already knew about reese cause reese killed the first t-100 back in number 1.... they know that jon will eventually send him back in time... and if they kill reese now (future) he won't be there to be sent back...

which all makes the "pick him out the lineup" fukking stupid... they could have squished his brain right there, jon would still think he's in there... but at the same time you stopped jon's ability to send him back... therefore nobody would stop the first terminator, and jon would never be born

my mom loves this series and she says if she met james cameron she'd ask him 1 question:

who was jon's father before he sent reese back??? there had to be an original timeline... so before reese ever went back and made jon, who was the original dad... and when a new man makes a totally different baby, wouldn't that instantly change every single part of the future?

They explained that in part 1. All the data around the world got destroyed by syknet. All they knew about Sarah Conner was her name and that she lived in the Los Angles area (that is why in part 1 the terminator was just looking in the phone book and killing any Sarah Conner)
