Terminator 1 or 2...Which is better?

I just cannot think of a single thing Titanic does than terminator 2

• it is not “better made”. Both are top tier in production but t2 was absolutely groundbreaking in terms of cgi and tech
• It isnt better acted…linda hamilton is putting on a clinic, and the home invasion scene is fukkin electric and when john connor flips the script, you realize that sara is not a hero, at all…shes fukkin broken and a psycho now
• It isn’t a better story….titanic’s story is about a rich woman who cheats on her man and is reminiscing about a lost love. T2’s is 400 level time travel scifi, and created an entire lore
• And this is by far the most important: terminator 2 is light years more entertaining. Its one of the most rewatchable movies ever made. Titanic is laborious in comparison.

Like i said, have your opinion but the idea is laughable to me.

I'll still take Titanic by an inch. I think after the Titanic hits the iceberg the movie is on another level. The best use of CGI on film maybe other than Avatar.

While the love story is pretty bland it was the Trojan Horse to shed light on the cultural and socioeconomic differences of the people on the Titanic.

Now on the topic of entertainment and rewatchabilty.

Entertainment is subjective. I think T2 is the more entertaining movie, but Titanic is far from a boring film.

I think more people might find Titanic more entertaining based on box office. It grossed a billion dollars in the late 90s. Nowadays any tent pole movie can do those numbers, but in the 90s those were insane numbers, so insane it took another James Cameron movie to gross a billion 12 years later.

Established some great lore. Always thought it was a little on the nose with the name John Conner /JC/ Jesus Christ undertones it established in the series. Nevertheless, I put it above T2. T2 was a damn good sequel though.

Terminator is a great horror movie, and the t-100 was a cold mf. A solid “A”.[/B]

But terminator 2 is at worst, the third best sequel of all time, had special effects that are so good that they rate in 2022 cgi tier, and is like a top ten action movie in film history.

Just finished 1. Watching 2 now. 1 definitely better. Telling a Terminator he can't kill is wild. Turning this ngga friendly. And my sexist side of this skinny woman handling people is ridiculous. And you want me to believe this annoying brat is John Connor?
