mentioning Ugas is dumb. dude has no clout even on his own platform, why would Crawford be running to take a paycut to fight a beltless multi loss having Ugas when PBC can't even guarantee him any money to fight the division cash cow. Manny and Spence both got trash guarantees for fighting Ugas, PBC would never pay anybody well to fight dude. Ugas boring ass is strictly a mandatory type opponent unless he has a belt.

Ennis is doing the same thing Ortiz is doing, marketing himself by calling out people he's not ready to fight yet while actually moving like they realize they not ready for the big step up.

Don’t worry, a lot of these “fans” thinking professional prize fighting is like Street Fighter, where you just fight any tough guy that calls you out to show that your tougher, and if you don’t, you’re ducking lmao

TF would that Ugas fight have done for TC Exocet make you give him a like on the YouTube highlights?

And I also agree about Boots. Love that kid but please tell me y’all wouldn’t put your son or main cash cow against a kid who has nothing to offer at the moment, who is too good to be a tune up, but doesn’t have their career in a place it can be to make it a billion dollar fight…

then Crawford would have just been criticized when the PPV inevitably flopped like all the other PPVs Ugas been in
it's literally no upside to fighting Ugas, not even money :yeshrug:
he's just a name people bring up as a human shield for Spence

  • 1st off Crawford is suing Arum right now with one of the complaints being that he couldn't make the Spence fight when that was a condition of him resigning with TR. So Arum ain't really an objective source since they're in litigation. He's also directly contradicting what he said was the reason for the fight not getting made in the past
  • Arum on here saying Crawford needs to do "what Ali did" in terms of betting on himself, it's 2023 and not sure what Ali match he's talking about specifically but taking a financial strategy used in boxing 40+ yrs ago is some huff and shows what Arum's mentality is
  • The youtuber is pushing the lie that PBC offered him $8+ mil guaranteed when Espinoza is on video, in this thread, saying they can't guarantee any money since the fight "won't make any money"
  • The youtuber is talking like getting a guarantee and a ppv split is mutually exclusive. ppv fighters typically get both those things. he keeps mentioning that PBC offered him a split of the PPV like that's exceptional. They offered 30% (less than Ugas got against Spence) and $0 guaranteed. Not sure how wanting more than that trash offer is "cashing out for a retirement check"
