Boxing is such a hard sport man. What I’d like to see is both of these guys take 2023 off, come back and fight tuneups in the summer of 2024, and finally meet in the summer of 2025 at a catch weight of 152.5 in what may very well be a retirement fight for both men. It just needs to marinate more so that it can be a bigger fight.

Can’t recall a fight were both parties leaving looking worse than when they went in. Both of these nikkas are some divas. The fact that a fight Mayweather and Mcgregor which are the hugest egos in the fight game can come together and get money when they not even in the same fukking sport.

I was just thinking this other day after Errol made some weird tweet. It's really sad that so many cross promotion fights have been made in the last 6 or 7 years but this one can't be made.
Wilder/Fury was made not once. Not twice. But three cotdamn times and they're arguably the most popular fighters in the world. What is these nikkas hold up?

Difference with that though is that UFC fighters are known for getting fukked on payouts. So it's easy to make those crossover fights because the UFC fighter will be making way more money than they'd ever see in UFC while also not losing credibility if they take the L. Here TC can fight a bum for 10 or risk it all with the hope of making 15-20 but reducing his future earning potential if he takes a bad L. That's a great point.
Easy 10 or hard 15-20.
When it's phrased in that way, it's hard to argue with the rationale behind fighting bums for easy bread. Why fight the elite when you can get plenty fighting hacks? It's prizefighting after all.
