Hockey has done a pretty good job the past few decades expanding the sport: participants and the fan base.

What used to be seen primarily as a Canadian/upper North and Northeast American sport now has franchises in warm weather cities.
This year's Stanley Cup Finals was between Las Vegas and Florida.

The Nashville NHL team has been longtime partners with TSU on other things, so it makes sense that they are fully behind this push to eventually bring an NCAA hockey team there.

It's a great look.

Good news for TSU. Love to see HBCUs with a wide variety of sports options. Gives others who may not be inclined torwards Basketball/Football other options to be athletic.
