Damn they broke like that
they said it was to help because of the revenue sharing thats coming in the future

the breakdown of the average 14.5% price increase of tickets at Neyland Stadium in 2025:
Initial average increase of 4.5% per seat on single-game tickets and season tickets plus donations. Some will be higher, some lower. That increase accounts for UT’s rising costs for construction, food, travel and other athletic department expenses.
An additional 10% increase per seat on all single-game tickets and season tickets plus donations as a “talent fee” to fund the revenue-sharing pool for athletes coming as early as 2025.

Yup these parents are gonna have their kids assed out...Nico might be the first in a long line of kids that are gonna learn the hard way. What type of power do you have to threaten this shyt after spring games have done started? Straight retarded shyt man....

Incentive model is broken now. A lot of guys have no real incentive in getting to the NFL, they're focused on securing as many 6-7 figure bags as possible in college. When you add it up across a 4-5 year college career the money is quite similar to what a day 2-3 draft pick will make on the rookie deal.

I'm proud of Tenn for standing on bizz. This dude has the nerve to be selfish when he fukking sucks. College sports are done though.
Its a contract negotiation.
His contract was up and they couldn't come to terms.
It isn't him being selfish its two entities not agreeing and voluntary ending business relations.
Take the emotion and fan boy shyt out of it.

Best of luck to Nico. I hope Hugh can give him a call and get him down for a camput visit.

lets be real most college athletes wont succeed in the pros

so they want the bag right now in college

Yep I don’t blame him for getting their money. The problem is will any team actually give him more than what he was making? I don’t think his year was good enough to justify 4 million a year.

Again, this ain’t an NCAA problem. The problem is the schools and legislators want to do what they want. The reason I said my comment earlier about all Tennessee will do is sue is because they and the states AG sued because they got put punished a couple yrs back for the Pruitt shyt. But it makes zero sense since Tennessee were the ones who outed their own coach for cheating so they could get from under his contract and buyout since they felt he was an idiot. They sued because they made a choice to snitch on their own coach.
Yeah at this point it ain’t the NCAA, they’re just sitting back and letting these teams/conferences do whatever. At this point the NCAA is basically like :hubie:at everything that’s going on

Again nikka, when mf’s have passed rules and such, they’ve been taken to court and struck down. What’s the point of having a system when if you or the majority agree to something, theres one rogue group who sues cause they didn’t agree? It’s like the RIF the government is doing rn. It’s usually a process that lasts 6-9 months to ensure no one is getting royally fukked by being let go. But this admin said fukk all that and did it without going thru those protective measures to ensure this thing goes smoothly. No different than the courts making NIL the law of the land as well as forcing infinite transfers instantly the rule instead of doing a deliberate study with a date to enact the new changes. Don’t rip the stitches out then complain about the uncontrollable bleeding.
