Yea they're getting there ass kicked when it comes the avg player count declining by the day.. but these people already bought the game.. The difference is with T7 anytime they dropped a big patch or some DLC the daily player count and the sakes would increase.. T8 has been in decline since day 1... T7 was also a bad game

U hit the nail on the head. The dlc is mid asf and the tournies are boring with a race to how many drags can make top 8.

Plus for normal brehs trying to be good it is a mountainous quest of volatility n knowledge checks. Its a very very demanding title.

Im about to put it on the backburner till season 2 tbh. I have a huge backlog and if namco going to let the game run ragged for 6 months at a time fukk that lol

what I want dont got shyt to do with the stats.. I'm talking about Tekken losing the momentum they had and its decline since.. the numbers dropped and these dlc's so far hasn't improved the active player count or the sales.. Thats a bad sign

The dungeon crawling being better than the actual fighting in the game is the true crime here.

The issue with these dlc chars is doubling down on the uninteractive nonsense. Eddy nor lidia are that good but in a short set that doesnt matter as much as they have legit guess for game situations despite their middling neutral.

Couple this with heat n rage you are realistically a couple guess from losing to them at any point. Which in turn makes them frustrating to play no matter how good they are.


Now you have Hei who is a mishima so juat by existing with that archetypes generic tools his neutral is much much much more solid than theirs. And they STILL add a ton of goofy 50/50 east to access clown shyt. Then to top it off a silly ass god mode dependent on heat that gives you safe(?) hell sweeps?

I understand this is prob fun and cool and hype for nikkas who play casually in red n shyt but for dudes who really tryna get good the current design n balancing schedule is a slap in the face. The biggest reason I unistalled recently is cuz like I said it just aint as satisfying to improve any more. Yes, I could bang my head and get to Tekken God since Ive been right there a couple but for what. I dont think Ive gotten any better recently. Better at cheesing, bout it.

They will never fix heat this is what they wanted the game to be

If Heat was earned instead of being given for free, I think it would go a long way for helping the gameplay in my opinion

TBF Ulsan is a great player, but yeah. time to wrap that shyt up he been broken asf since day one.

Heat is inherently a trash ass mechanic in general. couple that with rage, another trash ass mechanic. Its simply too many chefs in the kitchen.

against some characters if they have heat left and are in rage you are realistically 2 guesses away from losing. I'm sure this is intentional to bring "hype" to spectators but the person who loses that certainly won't feel like it was deserved or earned lol.

I'll probs camp in training mode because I imagine they will fix shyt eventually but pvp shyt is not fun atm
