I picked up a new main (Katarina) this week and I'm suddenly ranked higher than I've ever been. Currently at Savior.

Everyone already knows about her gimmicks so I'm forced to learn fundamentals. This character is actually deeper than I thought. She's trash but still

Lord, the learning curve online is crazy. Gotta work on reacting to lows and learning when not to push buttons. Also, gotta learn character matchups too

Lol it's crazy, I'm blocking lows but getting hit, I was wondering what was up. Lately there is an input lag that I confirmed in the character select screen which finds itself in game too.

Dropped all the way from usurper to beginning green with Jin. That's because I'm not closing games and combos like his 1,2,4 I only get the 2.

I'm gonna run in the practice mode for a bit to beef up my skills.

Switching to stick so I'll be a beginner again.

Oh I see that for sure, there are setups with him I'm still discovering and I've been playing around with his counters too.

His demon stance cancel I've improved a bit and counter hit forward 4.

He's my favourite character so I'll stick with him for a long while.

Meanwhile, I play Lili as well and execute everything perfectly to collect my Ws. Her neutral is crazy good, I don't practice with her but I'd be further along with her if I did.

I felt like that too. I’m pretty decent at blocking lows in everything but online. I get hit by snake edge lows that I feel like I can’t do anything to stop

picked up lee recently. having fun figuring out the rhythm to b2 loops and b33 pickups. only character I've used with a slide, learning how to mix the threat of that with WS mixups. pretty much no reason to use him if you're trying to win. but I don't know another character who is more satisfying to win with b/c of the execution barrier and the stylish combos.

I’ve played some pretty good Lee’s, but yeah they all seem to get stuck in purple or the first high blue rank.... must be hard to use


This Armor King thing ain’t working out for me ... if I don’t get a major throw in I’m losing .... I feel like the original King is much better

Last tournament I went to I got washed having to play on the right side, so I've been dedicated to cleaning that up. I'm at a decent level and from that my left side is even cleaner.

In the midst of learning a new character to add to my roster. Excited with the potential.

Also faced a Vindicstor Jin that had 1800 wins with some clean wave dashes but couldn't hold his own in the neutral. I did the bare minimum with movement to keep momentum and cleaned him up.

It shows how many layers there are to unpack in this game. Can't get bogged down in one thing while forgetting the rest.
