its funny watching his reactions but I know he probably heard most of these songs already.

Y'all notice how he likes every single song he plays?

It usually don't work like that.. all these songs came out before he was born. There gotta be some songs he just don't get.

He happens to like all of them?

While this dude's borderline-cliche phrase is "hard as hell", the fact of the matter is that he's right: The greatest hip hop is ALWAYS hard as hell, because hip hop at its core is hard as fukk. You can be 'conscious' like Tribe or 'savage' like DMX, but you gotta be hard.

So when y'all tell me you love hip hop, and you love Wu, but shyt on ASAP Rocky, big up Kendrick (who is waaay softer than Rocky and is not hard. Period), it tells me y'all are frauds. Plain and simple. My tastes in the new school always lean towards who's doing the hardest shyt. No one in this era makes harder music than ASAP Rocky. after him, Drake. Then Lil B (who is more of a comedian so he kinda doesn't count). After those three, it's a distant fourth and the rest.

It's still crazy how young these QB dudes were P and Nas when they were spitting the wildest shyt, as old as what we call "kidz bop" today like Yachty.

How the fukk can you still get goosebumps of what teenagers wrote 25 years ago :mindblown:

and this is the era where cacs (and some Blacks) were saying "rap = crap". Notice how they don't say that anymore now that they have complete control of the artform, shyt is 100x dumber, grooveless, softer than before and it's pretty much dead :jbhmm:

He should try to set up a interview with some of the artist he's discovering.

What's sad is that 3 of the best aren't with us.

It would be cool to have the artist breakdown the song making process and some of nuances in the lyrics to a younger audience.

That's actually a dope concept.

Let me call Jigga. This would be perfect for Tidal.:pachaha:

What a brilliant idea for a channel. Not only can this goin on for a very long time, he can easily roll this into other opportunities.

Some of his reactions are hilarious. I have a hard time believing he never heard Ether before. Literally impossible if you're a hip hop fan.

The clean versions be fukking up the flow..

He didn't appreciate the Little Italy shyt like he should've

From the videos I've seen, the kid :scust:'s to them exaggerated gutter, violent bars. Was surprised at his underwhelmed reaction considering Pun was sayin some WILD shyt on this.
