Spice could drop conscious just like Pac, Cube. But his gangsta fantasy raps plus cadence is what sets him apart. Not even gonna speak on his storytelling like 187 pure.
Spice had everything, should have been waaaay bigger. Yes, the purists love him but he didnt resonate with the general public like pop rappers did.
Low key that song should be up there as one of the greatest of all time

Spice was big in the 90s. Didn't his first four albums all go gold? He just fell off before hip hop had its commercial explosion in the late 90s
