I've been following this cats channel for a while now. I like the overall concept and sometimes check out his reactions. The only thing I give a :comeon: to is the fact that he had never heard of Jada or a DMX or a Mobb Deep, and has never listened to any 50 in his entire life. Come on breh you can't be over 18 and have never heard In Da Club or NY State Of Mind. Other than that I think it's dope that he's educating himself on some great music :salute:

He's NOT over 18. He is only 18. He wasn't even BORN when DMX and the LOX hit the scene.

So he actually tried to get away from it and lost a lot of subscribers and so he went back to doing them but said he still wanted to do other things as well. Dude is sort of in a catch 22. He’s sort of pigeon holed into doing these throwback reviews, which it’s clear he enjoys, but you can clearly tell he wants to do other things on his channel...but none of those other things are very cool or original, and every time he tries, he gets dislikes and subscribers leaving again.

I guess it is what it is but I think 90% of his followers are there to relive their favorite music by seeing a young buck react to it, and that’s it.

:manny:

Eh, that pretty much how youtube channels pop off though.

Start general. Find what sticks. Specialize. Create separate channel for separate content you want to create. Promote separate channel on main channel. Rinse and repeat.
