Nah, he really doesn't mess with Puffy. He's heard too many negative things about him. You can kinda tell his distaste with Puffy in some of the other Biggie videos.He respects all the legends. Diddy verse is corny. The video is also trash, didn't age well at all. I'm not surprised he wasn't fukkin with it.

Stan is definitely one of Em's best songs. In his top 3. But what really makes the song is the hook and the video. Lettuce be reality. It's also nice that Em is using his typical whine flow and just calmly talking.
As for him calmly talking, it's cool to listen to but not something you'd wanna rap. Compare Stan to its obvious predecessor "I Gave You Power", and there's more energy in Nas's flow. Makes you wanna repeat the lines. Stan doesn't. While the beat is cool and Em's writing is great, the song as a whole is just too low energy for me to play it repeatedly
