Judging by his videos...his top favorite ole school rappers are

Pac
Big L
Bone
Mobb Deep
Eazy E
DMX

And now Kool G Rap.
:obama:

He seems to be a Nas fan but is a lil too over his head...Wu the same thing. I cant believe it took Notorious Thug for him to finally appreciate Biggie but its no doubt the wavyest song he's ever done.

The most shocking thing is that he appreciated Rakim and LL...rappers that were in they prime 10 years before he was alive.:wow:

I was fortunate to get into hip hop back when it somewhat mattered...its gotta suck having rappers like 69 as the face of your generation right now.

:deadmanny: Wu to advance for him at least he admitted it lol.

:dead::dead:

You could see lil bro trying hard to follow. Slowly nodding his head. Paused after ugods verse and said "i'm trying to pay attention but its hard".

*restarts video*

Rza:
"Perpendicular to the square...
In particular my beats travel thru ya Vertex..
To the top of your cerebral cortex...
Enter through your right ventricle"

Young breh: You know what...i wouldn't listen to this shyt:francis:

:russ::russ::russ::russ::russ::russ::russ::russ::russ::russ::russ::russ:

Oh my fukking god i never laughed so hard. Breh wasn't even moving at the end or paying attention. Just looking out the window.

"Yea bro i wouldn't listen to this. This is above me. This is for older people."

nikkas who done got kept back multiple times used to play the shyt outta this song. Knew it word for word. Shows you how far lyrics have dropped.

I wanna see him do some Common but I'm trying to think of a punchline song he would like.

He would Spice One too. But again, it's about the right song to get him to buy into it. I was very surprised he like LL though. I thought that would be too dated for him.

he was getting noticeably less interested once Cappadonna started rapping :laff:

By the time it got to Masta Killa he looked like he was ready to dip

Cappa was off beat like a mithufukka. Triump even back in the day defied every song format you can imagine. Nine verses and no hook and it was still a hit.

I remember trying to put nikkas in ATL on Wu-Tang. I got a lot of resistance, so I'm not surprised he didn't get it.

shyt, I'm a big Wu fan and it took rap genius to decipher some of my favorite Wu songs completely.

The Staten Island slang plus Godbody terminology can get real confusing if you are not familiar with those concepts.
