it's really not that simple though. you need to find a niche, and actually be entertaining. I imagine luck comes into play as well

plus you need the right equipment, and some editing skills

I know.. I was being sarcastic....

do you really think I would want to react to today's music.. I would be stopping the video after 30 seconds cutting it off calling it wack..
but maybe I could react to the "new generation of NY MCs" from an old head POV comparing it to the 90s sound...

Today's music isn't the problem, you just don't have the energy to actually find what you like listening to anymore

been watching his videos since I saw the thread about an hour ago. dope channel

he might be overwhelmed by the greatness getting into those album cuts that made us really love these artists :russ:

he needs to react to the entire album .... but I'm sure you can sit staring at a computer screen recoding yourself for 60-90 minutes...

I might suggest they want efx...

The fact that u have to do a damn scavenger hunt is the problem. Back then it was readily available. Even at a mainstream level. A few 20-22 year olds was complaining about how the shyt they have now is mostly trash just today at work. Even they recognize the bullshyt.

its funny watching his reactions but I know he probably heard most of these songs already.

Y'all notice how he likes every single song he plays?

It usually don't work like that.. all these songs came out before he was born. There gotta be some songs he just don't get.

He happens to like all of them?
:patrice:

There's actually been a few he don't like.

Matter of fact outside of "Notorious Thugs" he said he don't fukk with BIG at all.

I said this exact same thing in another thread. People talking about "music is more diverse than ever....you can't find what you like on the internet?"

shyt makes absolutely no sense because you can find literally anything on the internet. It's more a statement of how impressive Google is than the quality of modern music.

Yup. Ironically as much as he loves Pac. He didnt really like “I Get Around” like that. Which actually surprised me honestly. Being that most people who dont even like Pac like that song.

It's still crazy how young these QB dudes were P and Nas when they were spitting the wildest shyt, as old as what we call "kidz bop" today like Yachty.

How the fukk can you still get goosebumps of what teenagers wrote 25 years ago :mindblown:
BIG was young too when RTD came out. You're at your best when you're that age.

He has a lot of respect for the 90s. It's funny cause in a lot of his videos he says he can't explain it but the artists then were more creative and different and just sound different, the way they put words together, whereas today it's just hype. Dude's 18 saying this.

Love seeing his reaction to pac's videos. "Pac is the head honcho, imo. fukk what the haters say". While he respects nas, he says nas says a lot of street shyt but you gotta pay attention and a lot of the shyt he has no clue what nas is talking about and he can't fukk with it.

This is why pac is universal. Everyone relates to him immediately.

And he said he don't fukk with jay at all. Feels he's all hype. Even this kid can see through jay:salute:
breh probably grew up on BP3 and MCHG jay, a real tragedy :mjcry:

He was young too but in my head 19 is far from 22, dudes couldn’t even get into clubs legally lol. When I say Nas I’m really thinking about the 91 demo.

But yea 22 is young too.
