Bruh is 20 or 21 I think which means he was at most 3 when Dipset was poppin.
Funny thing is I just got into their music three or four years ago. I was listening to random songs when "Who I Am" came on and it unlocked a lost memory. Can't remember when, I'd guess late middle school or early high school, I used to fuk with that song heavy but forgot all about it.

kind of? I mean the thing with Cam and Dipset IMO (
) is that they aren't as old as Wu, Mobb, Big, Jay, etc, but after the run from Diplomatic Immunity/Come Home With Me up through Purple Haze and Ballin'....they were all quiet for a long time. Most of the 2010's saw no significant or impactful drop from the camp, and I think it was easy for younger heads looking into older music to overlook them a little bit.Cam was never quite as a household name. To make a pro wrestling analogy, he was the dude that always held the Intercontinental strap but he never got the World championship. We know he's a legend, but he's just easier for the young cats today to end up overlooking.

Cam gonna be one of his favorite rappers, I know it. Cam has the blend of dope lyricism but is also funny with the fukkery, and has a lot of style. He's not just a bar you to death rapper, and I think this kid likes it when he's not getting barred to death.
