Peckham™ Come Get Me!
One of the $1000 iphone x key features being showcased was face unlock
A feature android had literally 5 years ago :laff:
Let me guess u think doing away with the physical home button is new and innovative don't u :mjlol:
That's the X model. The 8 and 8 Plus have the home button intact.

:gucci:Get your dusty Android ass thoughts together when you come at me, breh!

:gucci:So you want to go to work and sit at your desk typing into a fiddly 5" screen? What if you have to do spreadsheets for 8 hours straight or you're a visual animator!? Your productivity would be slowed down because you'd be zooming in and out every secord.

THINK, BOYO!:martin:

Just like the Microsoft 10 phones. They all hook up to monitors, keyboards and a mouse to simulate the desktop experience. The Lumia 950 was just executed very poorly. I think the technology is in its infancy, but that's what I would like to see.

Nah, I look forward to that shyt. Its gonna happen eventually. The phones performance is so high now that they can easily be a light desktop replacement.

Nothing can replace the productivity capable with a larger canvas ie a larger screen so that you can visualise your work output better.

The speed of the phones have nothing to do with functionality and usability which is why the monitor has not been replaced.

The monitor may evolve but a secondary device like a smartphone with a small screen cannot imitate a larger screen it is physically impossible.

I am talking about use for real time tasks that make an impact like doing work for your job like creating visuals or manipulating documents not surfing YouTube, Pornhub or selecting your best song on Spotify -- real work.

Youre totally missing a point here. All that youre saying I completely agree with, but its not the point I'm making. The MS feature Continuity involved putting a phone in a dock, which is connected to a monitor and keyboard.
I envision a dock full of USB-C ports. Hook up your phone and monitor and Bluetooth keyboard/mouse..you then have a fully functioning computer for large screened tasks.
