My last two position positions were literally senior cyber roles

:skip: a fake ass DJ trying to talk to me about tech
Cyber isn’t tech g. I’m an electrical engineer. I could see Houston dealing with semiconductors but now that Trump crashing the buildings that sector might get shaky

Cyber = Information Technology = Tech

So is Helpdesk, so is Desktop, so is Support, So is Migrations, etc. I started this off by talking about tech jobs in Houston, Not tech companies.

I blame HR along with recruiters because most suck at their jobs. You can probably automate their jobs and not miss a beat.
:yeshrug:

2 recruiters have a message for frustrated job seekers: It's not your fault

:mjlol: Fucck outta here Ak :russ:

Not the nikka that listed working at colleges and hospitals as tech roles calling me Ak. It must have been so hard getting those roles. The interview process must have been so grueling. You must have beat out 1000s of applicants from across the United States and the World. Then when you got hired the work must have been so stressful and hard. I'm sure you provided the share holders millions of dollars in value. :mjlol:

In case people were wondering if job postings are just back to where they were pre-COVID, they have actually fallen below the pre-COVID levels (index of 100 in Feb 2020) and even as of last month dropped below the bottom of April/May 2020 during the start of the lockdowns.

Some in here were being obviously disingenuous when they said what's happening now is a correction.

10+ thousands people being laid off in a matter of months is not a correction. It is being tanked.

I reached the top of my field as a black man in America at under 30 years old then voluntarily walked away to focus on my business that made 4x the salary I left on the table.

Why you mad AK?

Ak loves to see the black man get paid big bucks in tech to reset passwords. :salute:

They made progress, but did not even come close it looks like :mjlol: :heh:

Primeagen said they definitely would not got as far as they did without A.I, but even a team full of professionals using A.I wasn’t enough to get a basic version of a game complete. In many ways A.I got in their way as well.

Should put to rest the hyper-exaggerated claims about the capabilities of A.I. That’s a team of “10x SWE’s” working 24/7 falling short, not even coming close to having gameplay, dynamically created levels, etc.

The 500 Million Worker Problem

Perhaps most telling is what the report calls an innovation paradox. India leads the world in AI skills penetration among professionals, scoring 2.75 compared to America’s 2.22. It boasts thousands of AI startups. Yet the country has failed to convert this talent into meaningful innovation, with Indians registering a mere 0.2% of global AI patents against China’s 61% and America’s 21%.

Because it's all cap/fabricated. It's like ofnthey have all the talent they should be dominating the world not rushing to everyone else's country
