To be fair those companies like Twitter and Facebook don't produce anything of value.

Intel/Microsoft/Apple have excess executive employees, they gotta go...

Amazon is just ebay from back of the day, too much expansion in various markets causing them to lose money....

Just doom and gloom...frontline support will be alright...the creative specialist/fugazi positions gotta go...

All them companies growth was founded on cheap interest rate loans. They’ll be fine.

Hopefully all the layoffs and hiring freezes will generate more innovation as some people will use this time to work on their own ideas
Programs like Y-combinator barely get any buzz now days, everybody was just running to get a $400K job and calling it a day I guess

I wonder when/if the layoffs will start to hit other industries. I'm assuming housing will be next, the auto industry maybe, then retail?

I'm launching my new company this week. Just got my first call this morning. We on the way, boys. :wow:

they funky a55 supposed to be politicians talk about creating jobs and how well their party does that.

they have been steadily removing jobs since way back in the day, but the geniuses want to fix the problem that they have created in the first place

well they say they will fix it. this was the problem from many moons ago and it haven't went anywhere.

but they say vote your problems away. we often vote and make a fuss when others don't do so but those who make a fuss have no other plan

Switch to finance or healthcare. I ain’t worked in a year and a half and still get a dozen recruitment emails a day. If you in Dallas you’ll be fine.
I work in finance tech. Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse announced big job cuts too. I think all of these big banks are going to look to cut corporate costs over the next year. Luckily, you're right Dallas market is easy to find another job.
