What you know about paying 300 for a dream cast then 40 days later it's 99 bucks

What you know about paying 100 for a hd DVD player

Then it being worthless a few weeks later

I paid $300 open box at best buy, and thought I was :win:
Without question it was better tech than blu-ray in the beginning.
after HD-dvd died, Bluray gradually adopted all of the things that were part of the OG HD-dVD standard. By Blu-ray 2.0 aka (BD Live) it had caught up and required stuff like 1gb for local storage, Internet connectivity etc. you could only get on a PS3 at the time. Sony just had deeper pockets and bullied them out.

with all that said
:sadcam:
I refuse to ever throw it away.

I also still own a Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, Zune, zune HD, a dvd player that reads divx.

i don't know if i consider zip disks a complete failure, its not like hd dvd to me. it was just a transition point to something better and people in heavy data industries (like in science) used the shyt out of it while they waited for something better and i think they copped it before the regular consumer so it was actually a decent span before usb sticks. it was either that or floppy disks or dvd burning

They're still hanging around due to certain samplers (MPC's etc.)

fukk it, ANY non-iPad tablets not named "Kindle Fire" or "Nook"

Logitech Review

Xperia Play -- but that's more because Sony doesn't know shyt about proper marketing. :rudy:

pretty much, i think only the ipad, kindle and the nexus will dominate the market from here on out

with that said, i thought the ipad and the apple tv would flop the fukk out

I thought this was going to be huge because it was portable. It ended up being the worst console I ever owned. There were decent games but very few and I felt like my eyes were burning after I played. Not to mention I had to either prop it up on something or hunch over just to play.

I remember readin' how bad it was when I younger. Went to one of my cousin's house and saw she had one. She said I could play with it, but I hit her with a :heh: and kept it movin'.

lol got 2 of these too:pachaha:

Had to finally lay mines to rest last year. It was a tough mp3 player, but it felt like I was carryin' a bar of soap in my pocket. At least I can use it with the 360 still :leon:

Edit: Always thought Zune's software was trash too after they started doin' updates. Couldn't even upgrade the Zune itself just so I could do the music sync workaround with MediaMonkey :damn:
