Well, if I go 80 mph it takes me an hour to get there, and hour to get back. 2 hours a day. Say I'm full on Monday morning, I have to fill up again after I get back on Tuesday (1). Then I fill up again after I get back on Thursday (2). Finally, I fill up again before Monday morning (3). Takes me about 50 to fill up, so I guess it depends on how much I drive on the weekend; but on average, It's about 150 per week for me. Which adds to 600 a month...

Where do you live now? Why not just sublet your current apartment or room and use that money to rent an even cheaper place/living room rental. All your paychecks can go to savings and bills basically.

My room in Harlem costs $800/month (including utils). I could live better (considering I earn $2000+/week), but I am not trying to trying to explore other options just now. I am tryna stack paper.

Long story short: I took a new job very far away from where I live now. I plan on moving to the area I took the job at...but I need to stack up first. Here are my options:
A. Commute back and forth everyday. Spend about 3 hours a day on the freeway. Spend $500 a month in gas. At that rate, it would be very difficult for me to save money. I wouldnt be able to move until Feb 1st...and the quality of my life would be pretty shytty cause Id be on a tight budget til then.
B. Drive to work Monday morning...sleep in my car...drive back home after work on Friday. This way I would spend about $100 a month on gas. I would only have to do this for 4-6 weeks. I could save money a lot easier. My days would even be more enjoyable cause I dont have to sit in traffic for 3 hours. Dont sound too bad to me...but then again I never slept in my car before.
Here's my proposed plan: I work from 8am til 5pm. At 5pm I'll drive over to the public library. Chill in there...browse the internet, etc til they close at 8pm. Then go somewhere to eat dinner til 9pm. shyt, then creep out a spot a nikka can post up n park. Grab my pillow n blanket then hit that recline button on my seat. Wake up around 6am. Then hit up the gym...get a lift in...then take a shower/brush teeth/comb hair/change into work clothes....then go to work.
shyt dont sound too bad to meI'm most worried about people seeing me sleeping in my car. Like damn what if one of my coworkers catch me? Or even worse some fine bytches? I'm also worried about the cops. A nikka got warrants n shyt. Plus my tags are old. I feel like bein a fukkin vagabond, parking in random places in shyt, is asking to get harassed by the police.
Just put a nikka up on the shyt I need to be concerned about. Plus some tips on how to make it easier on myself. Provide some insight on whether you think its a good idea, or if I should just bite the bullet n pay for gas n commute.
Update: Long story short, the state owes me some money they said they were NOT going to give me. I filed an appeal but pretty much forgot about it. Got a letter in the mail yesterday that said my appeal went thru n they gonna send me a check
They shoulda just put the fukkin check in there with the letter, but you know how the govt is. Anyway, I should get $1000 check within the next 2-6 weeks...so that means I only gotta live in the whip til that check comes thru. So as of right now I'm loading up my car with blankets, pillows, I got a cooler fulla groceries, a couple of books I been meaning to read. I got the burner tucked under the seat too, in case some nikkas want it
Its not just my car, its where I lay my head. So someone breaking into my car is just like someone breaking into your bedroom and I dont play that home invasion shyt I'm not goin out like Sean Taylor.
