I heard they dont let u do that in California tho u know anything about that? I dont think they would even catch me...cause I'd only be parked there for 8 hours (just overnight). Plus theres like 10 Walmarts in a 10 mile radius from me, so I'd drive to a different one every night.

Idk about that regulation, actually i saw on yahoo that walmart lets u camp. I would get a gym membership and camp in their parking lot since i use to do that.

not a bad idea at all, g. i found a spot right by my work for $50 a month. the ad specifically says "no living in your vehicle" but I dont really think im LIVING out of the car...im just kinda sleeping in it for 4 nights a week. a total of 32 hours. i dont see why he would have a problem with it.

i'd also cop a bottle warmer a thermos, can easily make oatmeal , a cooler in your trunk with ice

Long story short: I took a new job very far away from where I live now. I plan on moving to the area I took the job at...but I need to stack up first. Here are my options:

A. Commute back and forth everyday. Spend about 3 hours a day on the freeway. Spend $500 a month in gas. At that rate, it would be very difficult for me to save money. I wouldnt be able to move until Feb 1st...and the quality of my life would be pretty shytty cause Id be on a tight budget til then.

B. Drive to work Monday morning...sleep in my car...drive back home after work on Friday. This way I would spend about $100 a month on gas. I would only have to do this for 4-6 weeks. I could save money a lot easier. My days would even be more enjoyable cause I dont have to sit in traffic for 3 hours. Dont sound too bad to me...but then again I never slept in my car before.

Here's my proposed plan: I work from 8am til 5pm. At 5pm I'll drive over to the public library. Chill in there...browse the internet, etc til they close at 8pm. Then go somewhere to eat dinner til 9pm. shyt, then creep out a spot a nikka can post up n park. Grab my pillow n blanket then hit that recline button on my seat. Wake up around 6am. Then hit up the gym...get a lift in...then take a shower/brush teeth/comb hair/change into work clothes....then go to work.

shyt dont sound too bad to me I'm most worried about people seeing me sleeping in my car. Like damn what if one of my coworkers catch me? Or even worse some fine bytches? I'm also worried about the cops. A nikka got warrants n shyt. Plus my tags are old. I feel like bein a fukkin vagabond, parking in random places in shyt, is asking to get harassed by the police.

Just put a nikka up on the shyt I need to be concerned about. Plus some tips on how to make it easier on myself. Provide some insight on whether you think its a good idea, or if I should just bite the bullet n pay for gas n commute.

i did this for 7 months when i was 17

first. if you have no where to take a shower. you hit up every gym in your city. not all at once. the majority of them will give you a free pass for around 5-7 days. so go to the first gym. get your free pass. use it till you have 1 day left. keep it. and then go to the next gym in your city if they dont have free passes show them the other free gym pass and tell them that your new in town and are trying to find a gym you can call home. they should give you a free pass for the same amount of days. repeat this until youve ran out of gyms.. or just buy a gym pass whereever if you got the cash if not. thats your best bet.

go to the gas station buy a fountain drink. keep the cup. do this at every gas station you can find. that way whenever you need water. they will let you fill it up for free.(works great to brush your teeth.

food.. buy one of these. you will get tired of eating off dollar menus n shyt so cop one of these

sleep... the most difficult due to cops harrasing you. if there is a walmart around your way they usally have parking for rvs that can stay for a max of 2 days.. eentually they will catch on so you will have to find a new spot. i use to sleep in my car in neigborhoods i was familar with. but most likely like what happened to me. the cops will be called on you. and they will wake your ass up in the middle of the nite(neighbors think you schemin to rob em or something thats why they call the police.


was the hardest tiime in my life but you will become a stronger person. and NOTHING will ever seem hard in life again since youvve been through pretty musch anything. you will appreciate everything alot mrore to.

AVOID DOING THIS AT ALL COSTS.. ITS NOT FUN. THE STRESS OF NOT KNOWING WHERE YOUR GOING TO SLEEP EVERYDAY IS HELL

wtf u driving breh...a semi truck?

my commute is 120 miles per day. thats 600 miles per week. my car gets 300 miles per tank. costs me $60 to fill up my tank. 2 tanks a week is $120. 4.2 weeks a month is about $500.
