Any time I hear his name is “hating” on the low, and people on here quoting him line it’s Kendrick.

Yet he’s been afraid to release his own shyt for 15 years, just riding Kendrick’a dikk like he’s the one making his music

To me, I love both types. Obviously the type of music that speaks to me AND is great sonically, are always the best to me personally.

Some people don't look for relatable content in music, they just want to zone out and have a good time and there's nothing wrong with that either imo.

And not for nothing. What Travis does is much harder to do than people want to give credit

When fans are there for your bars everything around the record can be mediocre. Banks last 2 projects have some of the worse mixing I’ve heard and his fans still celebrate it because the bars are there.

Might be so, but dropping fire verses is not nearly as hard as creating fire songs and even worse, fire albums that people give a fukk about.

You can just go on youtube and youll hear freestylers from some weird country spit fire verses, but they can't create music.

Thing with them is they had something to actually say in their music. He just kinda took what they were doing from a sound standpoint. Not saying substance is above all but that’s a hook for people to keep rocking with you for a long time. One thing I can give Travis credit for is that although he hasn’t said anything super profound or anything is that the music itself sonically has kept people hooked for this long. The “It’s just a vibe” phrase really works for him and I can’t explain it better than that, as someone who has rocked with Travis since like Upper Echelon.
