I’m not here trying to urge someone on a hip-hop forum that they should be listening to Taylor Swift but there is an enormous gulf between her music and a Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus or any typical songstress who doesn’t write her own songs. Cacs are the majority of the consumer population as a singular racial block. Singular white acts sell the most but the genres that they occupy (rock, pop, and country are pretty much the categories that white acts are marketed in) are not the most popular
