nikka if hip hop fans couldn't afford a computer, i think they'd have bigger problems in they lives other than buying some fukking cd's
2. Your comment makes no sense whatsoever,

That's one of the many reasons to why his comment made no sense.
Besides that, the fact that hiphop has amongst the highest ratio of e-purchased music to total sales, the fact that over 80% of hiphop sales comes from cacs and on. But on second thought, hiphop fans can't afford computers given that they download the music they download. That's why they buy a computer cause it's a lot cheaper in the long run than buying 50 albums per year :troll:. In fact 4 cds a month for 3 years or a macbook and a bb plan.

Country artists have always had artists that consistently sold when. This is no different from Shania Twain outselling everybody in 1997-1999 with one album. Even the biggest Hip Hop artists during that period were selling anywhere near that album. This was a period when Hip Hop albums were consistently going platinum and multi-platinum.

The point was that what I said was just as asinine as what you said, and truth be told, a lot of people actually think what you said is the case, that country artists only get support because middle aged white people somehow aren't internet savvy and don't know how to bootleg. It's ridiculous, whether you were joking or not. We're just predisposed to thinking music ain't shyt whereas country acts don't release in bulk, and there isn't an avalanche of music hitting you. It's not like Taylor Swift is droppin mixtapes to keep her fans satisfied

She's a country artist who put out a pop album. This is kinda like her 808s and Heartbreaks :yeshrug:

This is her highest reviewed album and as pop as all her other albums.
And what do you mean joke or not? If it's a joke it's a joke. Like saying Illmatic was released in 2032 and you answer "Whether that's a joke or not it's not true". You are too old or dry to be on a fukking forum if it's not about some scientific subject, a forum for pregnant women or something like close to that. And it might not be true, but still is to a certain extent. What else can explain why country has the by far lowest ratio with digital sales to total sales. And if you remove Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum digital sales will probably drop by 25%.

And I gave other reasons in a previous post to why country sales are irrelevant.
Dudes can be #1 on the country singles billboards and not even top 50 in the top100. Why? Competition is scarce. Also that country seems to support country, in hiphop even if Eminem is selling 4 million copies an extremely large part of hiphop fan base doesn't fukk with him cause the album was average or C4 doing a milli first week most hiphop fans gave it the :childplease:. In country that doesn't seem to be the case. They seem extremely different from rock, pop, alternative music, indie pop/rock and hiphop fans.

You might very well be older than me. If you were joking, then cool, but you'd be surprised how many people say this and pass it off as fact.

Country has more of a structure to it. They don't push albums back. When an album drops, you know when it's dropping. You get one single, no "promo singles". In between albums the most you may hear an artist do is a Christmas album. No 4-5 mixtapes in the way just to "keep your buzz going," and that's in a genre where the structure of the music doesn't really change much, not as much variety.

Could you imagine a hip-hop artist just sayin "fukk it, I'm droppin an album, Dec. 11, no push backs. Here's the first single, hate it or love it, and that's that?" shyt would be a breath of fresh air compared to the "nah it's droppin next year, sample clearances, here's this mixtape though so I can feed the streets"

I couldn't give a shyt about Taylor Swift, but at least she does her own thing and none of this electro garbage bullshyt.

But foh with that country girl talk, her music is pop.
