"he not opening no museum"
*picks up goalpost"
"it too small"

just to compare, The Negro League Baseball Museum here in KC is basically 1 big room with things like plaques on the wall and structures/busts of people.

and here's a picture of the Black Archives of Mid America here in KC.

Looks like Tariq is off to a good start and the building looks presentable right out the gate. It's not an abandoned building.
The negro league museum looks kinda dope :ehh:

Cacs and c00ns ain't never been to a museum. They think anything that isn't The Smithsonian is a pop-up. And they've only seen that in movies.

I guess but for locals how many times are you going to visit a museum? Can't see tourists flocking to it regularly. He's definitely going to have to make it an event space and rent it out as someone stated.
Are these questions ever asked about the random non descript museums everybody else has? It's one man and his core fanbase, gradually putting together the things they deem worthy from movies, books, conferences, and now a museum. It don't have to be the grandest museum of them all, for it to be sustainable. You expect one street in LA to hold all the FBA history there is? Let him have his museum there, and if you're there, support it. As rich as our history is in so many places, there should be more FBA museums popping up, big or small. If I touch down in a Kansas City, a Memphis, a Charlotte, I would love to be able to go visit the FBA Museum they have THERE. It's like the only ones expecting Tariq to do everything, are his naysayers.

Let it been Joe Biden or Trump say they even putting money behind a black bakery, nikkahs would act like that Tulsa was rebuilt overnight

Cuz it’s not really a museum. It’s a business he got his customers to open lol.
Pretty much this. Looks like it will primarily be an event space.

Probably have a rotating gallery from.black artists.

It is what it is though. I'm sure the people who donated to his business are happy. :manny:
