No he deserves to get clowned for that clown ass shyt. Nature of the beast. fukk feelings, he goes hard at nikkas for less all the time.

I think the song is corny as fukk. You won't ever see me adding it to my playlist. But I still fukk with Tariq outside of whatever he's doing with Mink Slide.

:stylin:like I said in one of the other threads, the song is catchy and he didn't try to do too much with it. He kept it real simple.

Let the hater juelzing commence. :blessed:

There was a period of danceable club r&b in the mid 80s that came before house.

D Train, Alexander O'Neal, Bobby Nunn. This was when "the groove" mattered. Tariq tapped into it.

O'Bryan had a hit called "Lovelite" that became a theme for Soul Train, that had the groove feel to it.

all i care is about the "blueprint", i see the big picture. fakkits here are focusing on the song and video as if music today is hot like that, what a bunch of hating ass homos.

next thing you know you will see a bunch of useless "monique" like threads everywhere filled with bytching, complaining and whining about the 'powers that be' not giving them the bag when you already have the foundation to do it yourself.

Tariq gave nikkas the blueprint.

Build your audience online.

It will take YEARS. It doesn't happen overnight. But it does grow exponentially after you get to a certain point.

The first 1,000 fans are hard to get. But once you get them, you'll get to 10K fans quicker. Than 50K. Then 100K.

You'll touch Ms within 15 years. Tariq came a long way since 2008 when he was still relatively unknown and still writing books.

Yeah, him doing that Mack Lessons radio show so consistently, was genius. His listeners were the ones who really supported Hidden Colors and helped it blow up. It's always good to have that base of people who'll support you, so you dont have to rely on white investors to get shyt done.

He really needs to do a few shows on business like he used to.

Yeah man I been there since the beginning, seeing him make moves and grow more income streams. You gotta give free content to build an audience.

Like you said, his documentaries and lectures centered towards race were supported by his Mack Lessons fan base first then others caught on. He realized that horror movie he made :mjlol:wasn't that good and stuck with the docs, he was trying make M's from a budget scary movie like Paranormal Activity. Now he's 5 docs in and celebrities know his name.

We'll see how he does with the music. He might lowkey build a fanbase overseas and they only know him from Mink Slide.
