My problem with this is that it seems to be awkwardly inconsistent with Tariq the activist, the scholar, the filmmaker, and the journalist inspiring a new generation of black media that speaks to the people. I understand that he's an "entertainer," one whose past forays into music would seem to make this vanity project an acceptable side hustle, but it still doesn't sit right with me.

Explain how this is inconsistent. I see nothing but empty comments from the haters.
