There's always been individual successful blacks and that has never negated the system of white supremacy. Madam CJ Walker was the most successful business woman in the country in the early 1900s, did that negate the existence of white supremacy? Whites will allow individual blacks to be successful but what they have shown time and time again that they won't allow is for blacks to achieve as a collective. Whether it's Rosewood in Florida or Tulsa in Oklahoma, there are countless examples of whites sabotaging and outright destroying black communities thriving without being dependent on whites. You do yourself a disservice by ignoring the reality of the situation that we're in. The fact that whites have the ultimate power in this society makes them dominant. How does that lying about that help you? How does lying about the fact that whites constantly plot to "stop us" help us? You can't solve or overcome a problem without identifying it. The point in bringing up Tulsa and Rosewood was to prove that whites take deliberate actions to sabotage black empowerment which you've tried to deny.
