That part was a deflection and I think Tariq initially didn't answer it how I imagined how he would've. Basically Schultz tried to play the "Things are better than before you guys were being treated as human cattle and beaten all the time" argument and then tried to say because Tariq has a little money and can travel then White Supremacy isn't real because White Supremacy doesn't allow any of that. It's a deflection. Tariq responded better later on by saying there's no such things as progressive racism which is true but any one can see the gymnastics being played.

You're actin stupid to miss the point. Tariq's point was that white supremacy hasn't gone anywhere. A black person in jail is basically a slave. Any black person can be thrown in jail or killed by a white person with impunity. Whites are just as racist now as they were back then. That was his point. Shultz's was simply deflecting.

I thought Tariq won this debate narrowly this is the probably one of the most competitive debate I've seen him in though..... I agree with Schulz about the Nigerian African immigrant thing I had heard they have some of the highest education achievement but they still aren't making the jobs so he was wrong about that point. Schulz was also completely quiet on the reason why black men are in prison disproportionately for non violent drug offences despite only being 12-13% of the population he particularly had NO answer for that..

He knew the answer but didn't want to concede.
