They don’t know who their local representative is or how they voted, so I know they not keeping up with her voting record, I even doubt if they know what part of Texas she represents.
I won’t lie, I believe her work reflects her rhetoric, and she does a good job of keeping her foot on crazy white womens neck. Different people bring different energy, I don’t expect someone like Alma Adams or Terri Sewell to check MTG or Boebert vocally.
And she’s only 43; I could see her being in politics a long time but her future is limited in that I don’t think Texas will ever elect a black woman democrat senator.
If I lived in her district, I would definitely vote for her.

Because I didn’t necessarily want that conversation. I read through the thread hoping someone intelligent would speak to what mattered and nobody did. So I did.

A politician’s personality and appearance ultimately don’t mean shyt. That’s gossip shyt for the women to talk about, her “sassy” attitude and weight loss and other bullshyt.

Only thing that matters is the work she’s done in her district, legislation she’s sponsored, and the bills she voted for or against. She could look like methuselah for all I, or any man, should care.
