Jasmine has only been a US House Member since January 2023 and already secured over $10 million dollars in federal funding for her district. Which is impressive for such a short time period and especially since Republicans have controlled the US House since her election. US Congressmen/Congresswoman have to write Chairman and Ranking Member (number 2 person) of the House Appropriations committee to request the federal money for their district and hope the Appropriations committee approves the request.
