Y’all can’t separate buying something for your self vs crowd sourcing money for something that will benefit the community.

The Jews and Chinese have all types of institutions. Schools, museums, sports complexes. EVERYTHING and much of it was funded by the community.

That would be fine but these same dudes count Creflo's money and their local pastor's money.

It's the same thing, If you gave money to "the Building fund" of the church it's a GIFT If you give Rev 200K and he spends 60K of that money on a Caddy he didn't finese you, A Gift or Donation can be used as the reciever sees fit as long as at least some of the money goes toward whatever it's being raised for It's ok yes some of it will get tricked off Lord knows that happens to some of the Help the Youngin's NGO's again some of the money does actually go to the kids but you might feel a ways if you knew that a big chunk went to saleries literal Mansions and riding clean in SUV's.

But if you ain't pocket watching Rev or Sally Struthers then you'd be right to call out people trying to call out 'Riq.

That museum isn't going up for $1M

Another Indigogo is 100% coming. The news report that (he probably paid for) covered the area and museum stated that he’s trying to completely secure the lot by November and construction to begin in January. This project is going to be an ongoing venture of trying to secure the finances to get shyt done because he’s doing it off of crowd funding. This shyt ain’t sustainable.

He hasn’t mentioned a single word about that museum since the campaign closed

Let me guess:

Exactly, nobody asked him for a museum in the first place. How is a museum supposed to help fight white supremacy? Maybe black people can run inside the museum for protection when LAPD is trying to murder one of us. The shyt is stupid, but when you ask questions you get called a hater.

No, $1m will not build, stock, and staff a whole damn museum. He said from the beginning, this was just the first round of funding to secure the location. He said he's adding $2-3m himself, just for the property. Subsequent rounds of funding will cover other needs.

The purpose of the museum is partially explained by its location. This is an opportunity zone and, thus, a newly gentrifying area. As he has explained, the area has black businesses (restaurants, etc), but no real tourism draw, except for nipseys memorial which is a, kinda morbid, and b, not monetized.

I don't donate to his projects, but have purchased documentaries. If he builds it and I'm out that way, I'd go.
