Cant wait for Tariq and Yvette podcast:wow:
:lupe: I hope so. Lesbian or not, she represents bw in this black empowerment shyt and I love and respect her data driven approach. No disrespect, but Tariq and Jason aren't formally educated, so there are some nuances they miss (and vice versa, of course, like business).

Both parties could be improved by combining forces. :salute:

I was going to mention this the first time I heard them.at same time. I can tell the difference now.
PBT is more scholarly and measured in what he says. You can tell he's older, probably in his early 50s, and has been biding his time for this moment. JB sounds more like someone in his late 30s or early 40s, who's pissed off and surrenders to emotion more than he should.

Because we don't have power, we can't create institutions nor can we protect them.

We had places before, all burned to the ground. The learning is us as individuals.

Not really. We have the internet. All the info we’re getting from Tariq and them is online. Dr. Clarke, Dr. Amos Wilson, Dr. Ben, etc. Bro Khalid, Bro Malcolm. They’re all online.

Chancellor Williams’ book, Walter Rodney’s book - all these are available.

We just need to figure out a way to condense that info and put it into a curriculum.

:wow:

Prof black truth and Jason Black are right on the money. They demand justice for ADOS without the need to bash other black people. Unlike Yvette who seems to have a score to settle.

I also appreciate the black agenda ideas that they powerfully articulated.

It's happening y'all.

Different segments of black thought are now getting on code, from the streets to higher education. We are centering ourselves in political discourse once again now fully understanding that the rainbow/poc coalition we forged after the civil rights era has completely undermined us. Now, no one eats until we eat.
