Reparations are just not something that's going to happen whether Democrats or Republicans run the government. None of of us are going to live to see anything like that happen, that's just the way it is. If a politician says tell you black people will get reparations if they win, they're lying. Telling black people not to exercise their political power because of that is stupid and irresponsible and doesn't help the black community whatsoever.

It's a temporary political reality. If people keep pushing for it and don't give up, that reality will change. Once again its about putting PRESSURE. The goal is not whether or not we will get reparations but making the argument mainstream that way they can not ignore it.

And why should AAs just vote willy nilly for any candidate since our own agenda is not being taken seriously.
