Brehs, I was not ready for the rage and grief that entered my body when I saw the photos of Emmett in a casket during history class, then having the teacher give the blow by blow of what happened in the most matter of factual, professional tone that he used for everything else like that wasn't a human life that got ended in the most foul way imaginable. That was legit the first time in my life at that point where I could recall being that fukked up.

I think the movie should be made. I think this film aboso-fukking-lutely should be made because nothing's changed since then. But I know damn well I'm gonna walk out of the theater equal parts enraged, shook and depressed.
