We were discussing this at work last night. Looked it up again on Wikipedia and I was shocked at how enraged I got. I was shaking with anger. All it would take in the theater is one sly comment and I know I'd be throwing hands... But I think this movie needs to be made. Just not with Singleton at the helm.

Actually this movie needs to be made because the BS that happened to Emmit Till is still going on with young Black men (in lesser degrees) today. If done right I think this would be a good movie to reflect on and for the record, I'm not going to hold Singleton's AEOM script against him.
