i kinda saw this comin anyway, three male R&B singers in a group and no Eddie Kane type shenenigans? On top of that Tyrese been known to be a attention whore and ego maniac..I remember my ex girlfriend went to one of his shows early 2K's and of course it's vagina wall to wall..this nikka comes on stage, sings a couple of lines of a song and starts complaining that the women are not on thirsty enough, walks off stage, comes back about 5 minutes later and lets the tape run while ad libbing himself..my girl and her friends walked out...

Tyrese is the only one of these guys that's still relevant musically and socially. What planet are some of yall on?

His album debuted number one on billboard just last year.. he sold more in his solo albums first week than the tgt album did.

He also had the a number one single in "shame" on the rnb charts last year. That song was huge. Men lie. Numbers dont.

:rudy: Just because Tyrese has more popularity based on his movie & acting career than Ginuwine or Tank doesn't mean this will correlate into more fans or increased sales for his music. In fact, if your theory actually held any merit, then why have Tyrese's last 3 solo albums (Alter Ego, Open Invitation & Black Rose) along with the TNT group album (Three Kings) all been flops sales wise?

:sas1:

We not only talkin about sales though brotha, what about shows too:sas1:?And yes women will come out to see somebody they are a fan of from movies and wherever else....Look at it from every angle if you need to,people even come out to club events to see social media instagram/reality tv stars:snoop:Who has the biggest social media presence in TGT,whos the biggest star right now:sas1:?

I don't believe Black Rose actually flopped?matter of fact it sold 77K in its first week?meanwhile Tanks last album sold 20K and he was ready to quit the game....Ginuwine I'm not sure but I'ma guess he flopped straight to hell, definitley didn't sell half of what Black Rose sold:sas1:

Who had the most recent hit record out of the 3 members of TGT?I remember "Shame" cant think of Tanks or Ginuwines last smash hit, care to remind me?No matter how you look at this, its not looking good for Tank and Ginuwine playboy:sas1:

Unless you think just because you were more popular than somebody back in the 90's,that means you are more of a draw in 2016.

Guess Ice Cube will be opening up for MC Hammer next time he performs:troll:

I definitely fukk with more of Ginuwine and Tanks music than Tyrese actually,But I'm willing to bet more people are coming out to see the nikka from Transformers,Fast and Furious...the man known for being some kindve social media guru now:pachaha:,the man who put out a great album last year and had one of the biggest rnb records of last year....More than they are coming out to see :flabbynsick: Ginuwine perform Pony in 2016:mjcry:

Your rationale completely makes no sense whatsoever! :mjlol:

If Tyrese was really a musical superstar with major mass appeal as you're trying to claim, then Tyrese wouldn't have even been involved with TGT in the first place knowing he would have to split up earnings among the group, particularly when he could make way more money by himself as a solo act.

I don't believe Black Rose actually flopped?matter of fact it sold 77K in its first week?

Actually you're wrong. Based on the current data, Black Rose sold 172,000 records & hasn't even reached gold (500,000 units) which most definitely is a FLOP, particularly for Tyrese's (alleged) star power!

:pachaha:

:russell: These comical rants have no validity whatsoever.

"The nikka from Transformers, Fast and Furious...the man known for being some kindve social media guru now ,the man who put out a great album last year and had one of the biggest rnb records of last year"
album sales still continue to decline & has released 3 solo albums within the last ten years which have all flopped!

We not gon count the movie charts:why:?

Lets be honest though,if all these nikkas performed a solo show on the same night, whos gon fill the most seats NOW? Yeah it might be because they are bigger fans of Tyrese from the movies,or from his social media, books etc....But it doesn't matter WHY they are coming to see these people....

put it like this. tyreese's name does the most in getting the show booked, but when it comes to drawing the crowd, hes not the main draw. most people are either there to see the whole group, or if theyre mainly checking for one person in particular, its usually gonna be ginuwine.

its like if the hot boys were to have a reunion. wayne's name would get a big venue but when it comes to coppin those tickets, its not gonna be your typical lil wayne crowd. its gonna be mostly people 30 & up that arent really there to see him.

Supergroup :mjlol:
Lets be reality.....only 40 year old fat black chicks were checking for this trash group:yeshrug:

:wtf:
:wtf:

Ginuwine had the biggest solo music career. Tyrese is the biggest star right now because of the movie career.

But as of today, Tank is the most talented of the three (vocally, songwriting, production-wise, etc.) The album sounded more like a Tank album than like the other two.
If anybody should be demanding a bigger cut its him. He was doing most of the heavy-lifting.

yea.

theyre all bringing something to the table.

Rev Run, who is good friends with Tyrese now, says he didn't like him when first met him 15 years ago because of this.

the irony.

run was considered the diva of his group.

i guess it takes one to know one.

Hold up,i just checked the wiki and that 177K number was in two months,he's selling about what Trey Songz last album sold and might outsell it...Maybe Tank and Ginuwine can convince him to join TGT and split the pay equally:troll:...I notice you was slow to bring up what Tank and Ginuwines last albums sold though, you don't wanna do that to yaself:sas1:...What do yall want them to base this off of?Movie charts is out of the question...and apparently now MUSIC sales are out of the question,as well as success on the rnb charts:snoop:?unless it happened a long time ago,cuz right now don't matter:whoa:

Nah nah cant do that, lets base if off @dorathedestroyer and her friends not going to see Tyrese:pachaha:...We playin Russian roulette and I handed you the revolver back with 6 shots in it,you can keep talkin like its only 5 bullets in there if you want to,stallin aint gon get you out of this, its no way out:pachaha:

:comeon:,if hotboys had a show right now you cant assume Hotboys fans would be the first ones to snatch up tickets, you said it yourself people go to see individuals as well....And from city to city who in the Hotboyz will be the most popular on average? That would be LiL Wayne....Hope you not sayin Wayne should have to split the money equally:dahell:?Don't get me wrong,i think both Wayne and Tyrese should because that's what groups do,but in some groups in the history of groups, certain members should be lucky that's the case....Wish Bone,Crunchy Black getting a equal share as the rest of the members:scust:?hate to even use WishBones name in the same sentence but you get my drift.

And it's March 4th 2016 & Tyrese's album Black Rose still hasn't even went gold (500,000 units) yet. :mjlol:

And the actual number on Tyrese's wiki for Black Rose sales is 172,000 NOT 177,000!

I notice you was slow to bring up what Tank and Ginuwines last albums sold though, you don't wanna do that to yaself:sas1:...What do yall

:rudy: Even if Tyrese's current album is doing better than Tank's & Ginuwines previous records, Tyrese is on par or still way behind his former TGT stable mates in most categories when it comes to overall musical success.

- Total No. 1 Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums
Tank - 3
Ginuwine - 2
Tyrese - 1

- Total Top 10 Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums
Ginuwine - 6
Tank - 5
Tyrese - 6

In terms of total album sales, Ginuwine has sold the most, with 6.98 million, while Tyrese has moved 3.69 million. Tank has sold 1.76 million albums.

TGT's 'Three Kings' Debuts at No. 1 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart

So all your incessant tirades asserting that Tyrese was the TOP draw in TGT over Ginuwine & Tank doesn't genuinely equal reality. :heh:

What success has he had recently tho? I guess "shame" got play on adult r&b stations, but I haven't heard a tyrese song get real rotation since "signs of love makin" which was close to 15 years ago. Nobody checked for alter ego or open invitation...seems like black rose has decent word of mouth tho. Ginuwine even having his last "hit" in 2009 is more recent that tyrese.
This got play on R&B stations in 2012/2013...

:childplease:,lets wrap this up,the amount of money artist get paid per show,is that based on how hot they are currently?or how hot they was in the 90's:sas1:?and it aint no question Tyrese album is probably 10 times more successful than Tanks and ginuwines last by the way in terms of sales and charts....based on Shame alone and the success of his album,Tyrese would get offered more per show to perform than Ginuwine or Tank right now nikka:pachaha:...Aint no "even if....",your going to get more to perform if you have a hot record in the NOW....If you think Coolio getting paid the same or more than Meek Mill per show I don't know what to tell you:mjlol:..."Bu bu but Gangstas Paradise was huge:mindblown:"

This below truly shows how much you don't know & how stupid your logic really is. Most of the top grossing music acts that tour are actually older groups or solo artists who haven't recorded albums or released new music in years. So once again, your theory is flawed. You don't need a current hit record or single to draw people to your concerts, particularly if you were a well known or famous artist in the past with an extensive catalog of hits.

"But pop acts only made up a handful of the Top 10. The most tickets sold were by “legacy acts,” older rock acts that have a vast catalog of hits and typically charge a premium to get in the door. Billy Joel, the Grateful Dead, U2 and the Rolling Stones all made the list, with bands such as AC/DC and Rush also being popular sellers." Male country artists also fared well during the year, with Garth Brooks coming in at No. 2 overall, while Luke Bryan and Kenny Chesney both cracked the Top 10."

wheres the article on aging rnb nikkas? I don't doubt they can make a good living,i doubt they getting paid more than artist that's hot, just by the nature of where they perform, and which demographics most of these clubs will pay big money to bring in....Who paying top dollar to brin 40 year olds into they establishment:dahell:

:what: The older top R&B & Soul groups or solo artists form the 50's,60,70's & 80's are also considered "legacy acts" also.

And many of them can make more money touring than some of the newer popular music artists with hit records or songs because they've been around longer & have a more loyal, worldwide built in fan base, not to mention a newer, never ending stream of fans as well that have been passed down from generation to generation.
