The WWF was pretty much scorching hot at this point, but when you flipped over to the other channel, WCW was somewhat hitting the restart button on a lot of things. One thing they never got right despite having so many chances to do so was their women's division. It was BAD. They were basically throwing out anybody on tv in waves and just seeing what would work. Sunny/Tammy had returned from wrestling after a mini-sabbatical post-98. She was managing Chris Candido at this point. It’s amazing how she’d come across two years after being in the WWF. She was still attractive somewhat (especially compared to how she looks 20 years later obviously), but there still was a noticeable difference between 96-98 Sunny and 2000 Tammy. Paisley (aka QUEEN SHARMELL) was fresh off a Nitro Girls stint, and paired here with a repackaged Prince Iaukea as Velveteen Dream’s dad The Artist Formally Known As Prince Iaukea. The match is expectedly bad. Picture a WWE Divas era match built around Brie, Torrie, and Kelly Kelly but without Victoria, Mickie, Melina, and Beth to walk them through it. Tammy was never a wrestler in the first place and Paisley had barely had time at the Power Plant. I’ll give WCW some credit during this time, they were trying to give everybody something to do to jump off screen no matter how bad it was. Tammy gets off a random Stunner here that’s :laff:the match truly feels like two women wrestling their first match ever. Also, this Thunder episode was on a Wednesday cause the WWF was kicking their asses with Smackdown on Thursdays, so they had to move.

I read her book a while back. She was on so many drugs around this point :dead:

Her interview on ECW on TNN (October 8, 1999 on the Network) pretty much showed the path she eventually ended up at today.

IWC said:
Paul Heyman, showing clips of her in SMW and the WWF. She talks about her addiction to muscle relaxers and even says that it was pretty widespread among those in wrestling. She starts crying talking about Louie Spicolli's death. She also talks about how she was considered old by 1997 even though she was only 24 years old. She also opens up about her childhood and being suicidal, and this is a little too real for wrestling. We also know watching in 2014 that this story doesn't have a happy ending.

Her and Ahmed are two people who were stars during the WWF New Generation era who had just amazingly random ass runs in WCW that did nothing for either entity lol. Am I missing anyone else? I guess Bulldog and Anvil too.

WCW was just trying to fill the roster with former WWF stars to bring in viewers.
