No, I can't say I ever brought a gun that looked real to a public area where others I didn't know were around and pointed the weapon in their vicinity because I was playing imaginary cops and robbers... by myself... at 12.

im sure he or she does feel bad, but before the incident there was no way of knowing if the gun was real or not and it's not ok to terrorize people by pointing guns, real or not, at them
when i was that age i had a bb gun and never thought anything about having it out in public., you know its fake and you think that other people know its fake too. I remember other KIDS saying you can tell it's fake because of the barrel..

but i already addressed that, the caller said, its probably fake and the 'probably' never got to the cops, so that point is not relevant in analayzing the confrontation
and either way, in a life or death situation, probably means you have to assume its real
and either way, there is nothing in that video that screams out, this is a 12 year old playing around, if we didnt know already that the kid was 12, no one could have guessed by looking at that video

yeah i do think that bobby shmurda look like a momkey in that office video and i also think the prevalence of violent imagery and lyrics in rap music combined with bad parenting is what led a 12 year to sit in a park and think its cool or funny to walk around with a bb gun
When you approach someone... you often don't know their mindstate. He could be high. He could be mentally ill. He could be suicidal. He could be completely sober and sane, but innocently playing imaginary cops and robbers by himself at 12 with a real looking gun outside of a public area.
You don't know and you don't want to take that chance when someone is fumbling with a gun. Don't know why they pulled up to him so close if they knew he was armed and don't know why he was shot so quick without more of a chance to drop his weapon, but I'd guess it was a rookie panicking that cost the kid his life and not a racist cop with a bloodlust like some wish to believe.
