Rocky doesn't make casual/pop rap music like the other two. His base is rock solid.

His music is very pop rap, it's lots of style with less substance and isn't made to be timeless. The sound changes depending on what's "fashionable" in music at the time, like his flows and beats. A$AP is actually a huge example of pop rap to me.

Besides, Rocky got a tiny bit of radio play with "Peso" and "fukkin Problems". And I'm more likely to hear fukkin Problems at a hip hop spot than any Kendrick/Cole record. But the point is that radio doesn't tell you what's classic or not.

We live in a time when radio is more in flux than ever. and in some ways, far less relevant than it was before.

Lastly, Rocky was NEVER promoted like that. Dude is an underground sensation and he'll probably be that way for the rest of his career. He only started to get more promotion because of Drake's involvement in fukkin Problems. That's a one-off.

Every year we have this "Rocky fell off" convo yet he's been #1 on both albums and sells more units than most of these rap nikkas. And when he drops songs with zero promotion as usual, he's getting millions of views. Don't mistake radio play for classic, breh. It doesn't work like that.
