And I’m saying it’s easy to see why someone not following a lot of gaming news would think this would be on gamepass. I’m not disagreeing with you
only message board junkies would ever scrutinize why something showing up on a service they already pay for is weird. so is responding with some "but but insiders" shyt. if somebody asks when a show they like is coming to netflix or hbo max, its whatever. gaming though? yal don't even know how yal sound.

i can damn near smell the dust flying off the keyboards on this forum now
No it's definitely weird in part because in every thread there's always someone asking this and they have to know that the game isn't coming because if a title from a major publisher like this also from a known series was coming Xbox would be shouting it from the hills.

There's only a few games that usually come to Xbox Game Pass day one and they're obvious games.
1) Indie titles because their developer gets a deal from Microsoft and the game gets more exposure so it's a win win.
2) New unproven franchises from known publishers or games from new studios.
3) Microsoft first party titles.

Bandai Namco has no interest in putting a game like this on Game Pass when they can sell copies to customers. Microsoft ain't gonna cut them a deal that justifies them cannibalizing their sales day one. In 6-12 months sure I'd put it on there but day one hell nah. If anything Scarlet Nexus not coming to Game Pass when it was a new franchise from the same company said all that needed to be said.
if you don't get the fukk on with that bullshyt :russ:

you the same dude starting threads complaining about fukking TIVO in 2018 like that shyt ain't 20 years old. I just need to vent about how incompetent Tivo is as a company :mjlol: if somebody asking about a service you should be the last one saying anything.

no. they don't 'have' to know shyt. that's part of the reason you ask a question. crazy i know. when someone asks if a show they like is coming to hbomax in person do yal turn into actual clowns with the same kind of arguments? i fukking hope not. but i wouldn't be surprised.

yal can't turn it off

What does me still owning a Tivo I paid $300 for lifetime service for back in 2012 and still have hooked up allowing me to stream cable TV from my home and recordings from my home have to do with anything?

Unless you literally just bought an Xbox you know the kinds of games that do and don't come to Game Pass. Even if you didn't it's quicker for you to Get on Microsoft's site and look at what they've announced is coming than it is for you to go on a forum having a pretty good idea it's not coming then ask anyway?

Why ever even suggested this was coming to Game Pass? There haven't even been rumors of it. These third party developers are trying to sell games. Microsoft is trying to push subs. They put this on Game Pass and people like me who own both a PS5 and Xbox Series X will just not buy it and play it on Game Pass costing them sales.

you own a service. you ask questions about products you're interested about coming to it as well as updates

:ohhh::ohhh::ohhh:

but keep juelzing. ask about some dusty ass 20 year old service but a growing one? oh nah that's different. they should know better

I get some of the gist of what you're trying to say (like the common, casual cat not knowing who makes what; tho why presumably why you seem so aggro about it, not so much, lol), there's still a few reasons why it's a different in comparison to what you're talking about in the movie/tv industry and its mostly in how they're consumed and history of how they've been delivered. TV shows and movies are passive entertainment ultimately and typically are considerably shorter in length per show/movie than the average game. So binge-watching habits would be different vs. binge game playing, which isn't much of a thing by most. And such services are pretty new in the gaming industry, so it's a lil weird on that level, since it ain't common practice like that yet.

Tho as I said earlier, desire of such vs. expectation of such, two different things and the latter is definitely odd, all things considering. Like, I can get someone not in the know wondering when Justice League is going to hit Disney Plus, but obviously just knowing a lil bit knows why even that expectation is a stretch to say the least and anyone mildly in the know would be like "Seriously?":dwillhuh:. M$ don't make every game that comes out and definitely not this one, so to expect it or any game that they themselves didn't make to reach their subscription service day 1, is absurd. :manny:

I agree

But I have def heard people casually saying this game could potentially be on gamepass, even on here. I’m not really sure what the big outrage is over tbh

There’s a lot of gaming stuff to keep track of so someone not knowing if a JRPG is on a service isn’t that crazy to me

What character ya'll anticipate maining?

I'll probably use Law mostly. I like rushdown types and martial artists.

like most rpg with multiple playable characters , the main character is usually the most straight forward. :yeshrug::ehh:but obviously i will main the one that gives the most strategic advantage during a particular mini- boss or boss fight
