Well, I think it was made before he turned into this conservative right-wing political a$$hole.
Actually I read on wikipedia that it actually wasn't considered a part of the franchise at release, but they later repackaged it as "Tales Of The Crypt" for the DVD release, so I'm not really sure where it stands. Never saw it, but I'll take you for your word.
wish they made a proper anthology film of tales from the crypt (like the OG 1972 and 90's tv series)..instead of 1 feature..

This is why I would put TFTH over DK. I love anthology horror. If tales from the crypt dropped an anthology that was connected like Trick R Treat....

im with until you said connected like trick R treat. no way am i knocking your preference, many heads enjoyed TRT and it was a cool movie, but i love my anthology movies to be separated as such. Looks like a straight to DVD but I'll give it a whirl. Props.
I love both films. Billy Zane nailed it as the villian role. Both had me shook as fukk when I was a kid but Tales from the Hood have the messages especially KKK jail scene was spoke the damn true.
